Degerndorf at Lake Starnberg

Degerndorf is situated in the pre-alpine region between Munich and  Garmisch. Soft moraine hills, calciferous soil and much rain are ideal prerequisites for green pastures. In a largely intact and uncontaminated nature mellow, diversified and healthy meadows can grow.

The Rauscher-Hof in Degerndorf

From the 16th century the Rauscher-Hof in Degerndorf has been owned by the Berger family. Thus ancient knowledge of agriculture and the correlation between growth and prosperity could be handed down and augmented from generation to generation.
Since 1990 the farm is biologically managed in accordance with the standards of the Naturland-Verband. Regular independent controls ensure conformity.

The AGROBS GmbH

The AGROBS GmbH was established on the fundament of the family farm. True to the rural traditions development, production and distribution of high-quality nutrition are purposefully realised.

The Forage

The production of dry green forage started in 1980 with the production of high-quality hay for horses. Meanwhile the methods for the conservation of green substance have been refined: to produce in a more preservative, cleaner and allergen-free way the green forage is dried carefully in warm air. The vitamins, trace elements and other nutrients contained are thus processed and well preserved.
