How is PRE ALPIN Lepo produced?
The basic components of all PRE ALPIN Lepo products are a variety of meadow grasses and herbs harvested in the optimum state of ripeness. The green plants are carefully dried by warm air in a state of the art drying plant and processed to dry plant or fibre products without the addition of pressing aids or flavouring substances. The structure remains well preserved in the process. The quality outperforms conventionally dried hay since crumbling losses, elution and nutrient-consuming fermentation can be excluded. A fungus spread is prevented as well. Due to the particularly clean processing hay dust allergists (humans as well as animals) will not have any problems.
A part of the fibres and cobs is then mixed with leaves, blossoms, vegetable cubicles and herbs. In this way you feed health from controlled ecological production.
PRE ALPIN Lepo Herbs, Lepo Fibre & Lepo Bloxx
The basic diet of herbivorous (= plant-eating) rodents and rabbits should always consist of high quality hay or a dry plant product rich in crude fibre. PRE ALPIN Lepo Herbs, Lepo Fibre and Lepo Bloxx can be fed as a substitute or supplement to hay. These products provide a clean, dust-free basic food rich in crude fibre and free of sensitizers.
For the production of the PRE ALPIN Lepo basic food herbs and grasses of highly diverse meadows are mown at the optimum harvest time and then dried in a state of the art drying plant and processed to cobs (Lepo Herbs), fibres (Lepo Fibre) or blocks (Lepo Bloxx). Nutrients and vitamins are optimally preserved by the mild treatment during the drying process. The preservation of the fibre structure is one of our main concerns since it stimulates active chewing, promotes the required abrasion of the teeth and enhances digestion. PRE ALPIN Lepo Herbs, Lepo Fibre and Lepo Bloxx are free of all additives.
