Bergsiegel Willow contains native salicin, a glucoside that is converted to salicylic acid in the digestive tract.
Willow bark was used to relieve fevers and aches in ancient Greece.

Feeding Recommendation

The following quantities are recommended as supplement to daily rations: Warmbloods 30–50 g, thoroughbreds 40 g, ponies 30 g. Administer the herbs over a six-week period.

Do not feed to pregnant mares.
