Nutritional analyses of Agrobs products

The quality of our products is very important to us. The production and trade of our single and compound feeds is therefore also subject to GMP+ quality management. Analysis of raw materials and end products is an important part of our quality control. But it is not only the tests for pollutants such as heavy metals, dioxins and pesticides that are relevant in this regard, the regular analysis of nutrients is also important to ensure good feed quality.

Which nutrients are examined exactly?

The raw nutrients in all products are determined using a so-called Weender analysis. These raw nutrients are dry matter, crude ash, crude protein, crude fibre, crude fat and nitrogen-free extractives (NfE). Crude ash contains minerals, which include macro and trace elements, and other inorganic substances. Crude fibre consists only of insoluble proportions of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. The term NfE includes starch, glycogen, soluble sugars (glucose, fructose, sucrose, lactose, maltose and oligosaccharides) as well as soluble parts of cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and pectins.
We also have our AGROBS products tested for starch, sugar, fructan and energy content. The levels of macro and trace elements such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, chloride, sodium, potassium, sulphur, iron, zinc, manganese, copper and selenium are also an important part of our regular analyses.
Depending on the product, the vitamin E, ß-carotene and amino acid content may also be of interest.
In addition to quality control, this information is also of interest in order to calculate the ration.
Here you will find an overview of the average values of various nutritional values that are not indicated on our labels. The average values were calculated over a period of five years. Since Agrobs AlpenGrün Seniormüsli has only been on the market for three years, we only have analyses from the last three years accordingly.
If you still need the nutritional analysis of the last harvest, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
