Nutritional analyses of Agrobs products

The quality of our products is very important to us. That is why the production and trade of our single and compound feeds is subject to GMP+ quality management. Analyses of raw materials and end products are an important part of our quality control. But it is not only the analyses for harmful substances such as heavy metals, dioxins and pesticides that are relevant here. Regular analyses of nutrients are also important to ensure the quality of the feed.

Which nutrients are analysed exactly?

The crude nutrients in all products are determined using a so-called Weender analysis. These crude nutrients are dry matter, crude ash, crude protein, crude fibre, crude fat and nitrogen-free extractives (NfE). Crude ash contains minerals, which include bulk and trace elements, and other inorganic substances. Crude fibre consists only of insoluble proportions of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. The term NfE includes starch, glycogen, soluble sugars (glucose, fructose, sucrose, lactose, maltose and oligosaccharides) and soluble parts of cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and pectins.

We also have our AGROBS products analysed for their starch, sugar, fructan and energy content. We also analyse the content of bulk and trace elements such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, chloride, sodium, potassium and sulphur, iron, zinc, manganese, copper and selenium are also an important part of our regular analyses.
Depending on the product, the content of vitamin E, ß-carotene and amino acids may also be of interest.

In addition to quality control, this information is also of interest for calculating rations.
Here you will find an overview of the average values of various nutritional values that are not stated on our labels. The average values were calculated over a period of five years. As Agrobs AlpenGrün Seniormüsli has only been on the market for three years, we naturally only have analyses from the last three years.

Should you nevertheless require the nutritional analyses of the last harvest, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
